Exit Ready
Understanding the Ins & Outs of an Eventual Sale
The best exits are never rushed.
They are planned long before there’s ever any decision to sell.
A SIX-PART INTENSIVE SERIES
-
Hear from an Investment Banker on key metrics buyers desire, and what drives increased business valuation.
-
A CPA breaks down how deal structure and tax planning affect what an owner actually keeps from a sale, and why clean, diligence-ready books can be worth as much as the deal itself.
-
An M&A attorney pulls back the curtain on the inner workings of a transaction, from letter of intent to closing, and the legal pitfalls that can cost sellers value in the process.
-
A trust & estate attorney explains why the most effective wealth-transfer planning happens well before a transaction, not after, and how to protect what a family has built across generations.
-
Grayson Garvin details key financial and personal considerations after the deal closes.
-
Hear the experience of a successfully exited founder, and first-hand takeaways of their transition.
You don't have to be in the process of selling your business to belong in this room. Every owner should be thinking about their eventual transition — even one that's years away — and doing so with clear eyes, good counsel, and no pressure to act.
